The Explore Scientific iEXOS-100 PMC-Eight Equatorial Mount & Tripod is a compact, fully computerized GoTo telescope mount that finds and tracks objects in the night sky for you. A "GoTo" mount means you pick a target — the Moon, Saturn, a star cluster — and the mount motors slew the telescope to it automatically, then follow it as the Earth turns. It's a friendly way to spend less time hunting and more time looking.

Powered by the PMC-Eight control system, the iEXOS-100 delivers smooth, accurate pointing for visual observing and entry-level astrophotography, and it can be driven wirelessly over WiFi or Bluetooth from a phone, tablet, or computer using the free ExploreStars app.

No. Once it's aligned, you choose a target in the ExploreStars app and the mount slews to it and tracks it automatically — it's designed to help beginners find objects they couldn't locate by hand.

Yes, for entry-level imaging of the Moon, planets, and brighter deep-sky objects. Keep your telescope and camera within the payload limit and well balanced for the best tracking.

What powers the mount?
The PMC-Eight system runs from a battery pack that mounts on the tripod (batteries not included) or a compatible DC power supply.

Will my telescope fit?
