The Explore Scientific Sidara Pro 80mm is a beginner GoTo refractor telescope built on the motorized SkyAssist GoTo mount, which finds and tracks objects for you automatically. Choose a target in the SkyAssist app, and the motors drive the telescope to it and then track it as the sky turns — so you spend your time observing instead of searching.

What does GoTo mean?
A GoTo mount has motors and a database of objects; you select a target and it automatically drives the telescope to it and tracks it across the sky.

Do I still need to set it up each night?
You do a quick guided alignment with the SkyAssist app; after that, the mount finds and follows objects for you.
